USB 2.0 vs 3.0

The universal serial bus (USB) is evolving.

Most of our flash drive products are USB 2.0. This means they support data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbits/s (or 60 Mbytes/s).

We also sell USB 3.0 which is now the fastest standard. The data transfer rate is up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0.

But data transfer is also dependent on the USB port in your pc (not just the flash drive).

Our USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 flash drives are backwards compatible to work with all USB pc ports.

You must have a usb 3.0 port in your pc to take advantage of this extra speed. If you only have a usb 2.0 port then the speed will be reduced down to usb 2.0 speeds.

Quality Inspections

The factories conduct quality inspections as the products have to pass the USA FC & European CE importation quality standards.

If the chips are non-branded we conduct additional quality inspections after they arrive in Australia. We have a testing facility in Sydney.

We test chip quality (look for bad disk sectors). We also evaluate the read and write speeds.

RBP

RBP is not a promotional company. We are an electronics company with 20 years experience in the data/software industry + 12 years experience in the usb flash drives industry. We are the most experienced flash drive seller in Australia. We do not sell pens, umbrellas, coffee mugs, T-shirts, and other gift items. We only sell usb flash drives, microSD cards, powerbanks, drones, hard drives, and other electronics.

We only use offshore manufacturers that can supply products which meet our quality requirements.

Warranty

Many of the branded items like SanDisk have a 5 year warranty or a limited lifetime warranty. See back of retail packaging for details.

For RBP brand, or non-branded items we warrant the flash memory in your usb flash drives for one year.

If your flash drives fails to operate under normal use you can contact us for a replacement.

Our Brands

We sell USB flash drives and microSD cards branded in alternative ways:

1. International brands (SanDisk, Toshiba, Lexar, Kingston, Xiaomi, Sony, etc.)
2. RBP brand (an Australian brand)
3. Blanks (no brand).
4. Your logo colour printed or engraved.

I don’t like your current stock of flash drives. I saw one someplace else that I like better. Can you get me other models?

Yes, we have contacts with 50 factories that make USB flash drives.

If you can send us a picture we can likely identify a source of supply.

Please remember that most factories make only bulk order sales of 50 or more pieces to us.

Think about how many you want to buy and then call or email us.

I am in the Sydney metro area. Can I drive over and pick it up?

Yes. Call us to coordinate a time.

Products must be paid in full before release.

What types of payment do you accept?

Bank direct deposit is preferred.

We accept Visa and Mastercard via the online store secure encrypted portal run by Westpac Bank.

We accept Paypal too.

You can also mail in bank cheques and personal cheques to our mailing address but this slows down delivery.

We need to wait for the mail to deliver and then several days for the cheques to clear.

Do you sell “fun” or “novelty” USB flash drives?

Yes, many people like the fun shapes.

We sell dolphins, geckkos, koalas, platypus, doctors, cars, and many types of unique shapes. There are lots of these types of items available.

Take a look at the online store "novelty category. You can also see fun items in our catalogue.

If you are hunting for a unique flash drive tell us what you are looking for. If it is a flash drive we have probably seen it in one of the catalogues from our overseas factory suppliers.

We also make custom usb flash drives. Tell us what you are looking for. Send us a detailed sketch and description of what you want. We can give you a quote to build the mold.
